Some Famous Paintings are contemporary art, some are antique. It doesn't matter so much about that, but, to you, it matters, what changes will the climate, in art-price-appraisal, of famous paintings, undergo, in the future. It depends. Whereon depends it? Vincent van Gogh had painted some People Paintings. He painted several portraits of Zouaves, including his friend Paul-Eugene Milliet (not the sitter for this portrait). A zouave was a regiment of the French army dressed in an arabesque influenced manner because of its Algerian background.
